Understanding: Parts Through Art

Parts Through Art is a gentle, experiential workshop inspired by No Bad Parts by Richard Schwartz. It blends psychological insight with creative expression - a space where science meets soul. ✨

We’ll begin with an introduction to the concept of “parts” - the inner fragments or sub-personalities that make up our internal world. Through teaching, examples, and group discussion, you’ll learn how these parts develop, the roles they play in keeping us safe, and how understanding them can deepen self-compassion and emotional balance. 🎭

From there, we’ll move into a guided creative process using mixed media and canvas. You’ll be invited to meet one of your own parts and explore its expression through colour, texture, and form. There’s no right or wrong way to create - and no artistic skill needed. This is a space for curiosity, reflection, and connection with your inner world.
